A downloadable game for Windows

This is the demo for our upcoming open ended puzzle game Captain Contraption's Chocolate Factory.

Design and build your own machines to combine ingredients to make chocolates. Automate production using simple components to create ingenious contraptions, which are as satisfying to watch as they are to optimise.

Design and build machines to solve automation puzzles.

Using a simple set of tools, create machines to automate the production of Captain Contraption’s chocolates. Launch some nuts into melted chocolate to make your favourite snack, smash caramel against a wall to make bite size bits, and crank-up the E numbers by adding food colouring to everything. Each puzzle has as many solutions as you have ideas.

Watch, and then optimise your oddly satisfying contraptions.

Since every process in the game is simulated using physics, it is easy to understand how your machine is working – but almost impossible to stop watching it. When you can finally tear yourself away from your monitor, you’ll want to share your contraption with friends… and then optimise it together!

Create your own challenges and share them with your friends and the community

We’ll give you the same, easy-to-use, level editor we use to build the game to create your own automation challenges. Head over to our discord to share your levels and find some to download

If this sounds like your kind of fun, support us by downloading the demo, giving it a try and letting us know what you think. We will be launching the game at the same time on itch.io and steam - it would really help us get the word out if you could also wishlist it over there.

I really like the simple graphics and animations! This looks fun!

Also, I played a lot of The Incredible Machine 1 and 2

Thanks!

Really fun! Interested to see what new building blocks will be added in the future updates. I do wonder though if the efficiency needed to beat the levels should be 51 vs 50 so that you can't just automate one of two inputs to cheese completing the level on low budget and higher coverage.

Thanks! Yeah that's a good point 🙂

I like the game. Reminds me on The Incredible Machine games :-)

Thanks 😁 That's really good to hear, it's one of the things we were going for.
